Lifebuilder's 1/13/08

Dear Lifebuilder:

MR FREEZE taught from Psalms 5.

BIRTHDAY GIRL! Youngster Pat Thorne celebrated her 31st this week.

FEC FEMALE MEXICAN MISSION- FEC Women will be doing a "Women Teaching Women" thing in Mexico with Rubin Guytan 3/17-3/23. Sign up deadline is 2/1. Accommodations will be "rough".

DORMOIS DINER SCHEDULE: Le Lobster & his All Girl Band need only Monday night meals. Sign up is on the bulletin board in the classroom. Sarah is doing better than expected. Pray that she comes home early.

FEBRUARY LIFEBUILDER EVENTS:

2/10: A "Hot Dawg" luncheon for all Lifebuilders and their hangers on at the Nick and Joanne Clarks after Sunday AM electives. The pool will be uncovered. Bring your wet suit if interested.

2/24: Not to be outdone by the Clarks, The Preston Klinkes will have the class over to their domicile for a Soup & Corn Bread dinner at 7:15 PM after the evening service.Continue to pray for Byran and Angie Bell.

DR. DOCTOR JIM THORNE resumes his teaching schedule at Chrichton College tomorrow. He is to teach "Invitation to Theology" to young budding minds & service-minded souls.

NICK'S NERVE: Nick Clark is to have a neck nerve block this week.

MISSION CONFERENCE HAPPENINGS AND SCHEDULE: Missionaries visiting our class will be: Alex Galloway, Mark Miller, Aileen Coleman and David Irwin. LIfebuilder's 1/6/08

Dear Lifebuilder:

MR FREEZE requests that we review Psalm 5. It will be the lesson topic for the next few weeks.

VISITORETTE: Rachel Laughlin braved the class after Big Church.

ORPHANOS OFFERINGS- Sharon White requests old Christmas cards for Orphanos.

BIRTHDAY BOY: Paul Patrick celebrates another one January 4.

TEAM THORNE requests continued prayer for daughter Sarah.

B PERKINS requests prayer for his cousin who is entering rehab for drug and alcohol addiction.

KLINKE CLAN KID- John Preston- is leaving 1/7 for a semester abroad to study in England.

DORMOIS UPDATE: Sarah is doing better. Out of town treatment ends at the end of February. Le Lobster needs only Monday night meals. Sign up poster for Monday Meals is on the bulletin board in the Sunday School classroom.

CHRIST COMMUNITY CHURCH STUFF: The 7 Jones kids who were being raised by a now dead grandmother are living presently with their Aunt Coco and her boyfriend Tony. Lemar Walker will marry Coco and Tony this Saturday. They are committed to raising all 7 boys in their 3 bedroom house.

Erstwhile Lifebuilder EDDIE CUNNINGHAM will be leaving next week for a 10 day mountain climbing trip to Mexico for Mount Orizaba and Ixta.

FEBRUARY FIRST EVAN ELECTIVES: No Sunday School classes for the month of February. "The Book of Daniel", "Discipleship", and "Lives Lived Well" will be offered the month of February during normal Small Church time.
