FEC 24/7 Prayer Week Stuff

Its spring again and with that comes “spring cleaning”! We all have those odd jobs that need to get done this time of year. Well, we have a group of eager young people who are ready to help.

Our Impact and Crossroads students are setting up two work days on Saturday, April 26th and May 10th to do the work for you.

The objective for this project is two-fold. First, we are seeking to serve those in our church family who need help, and secondly, to raise money for summer missions.

Impact will work alongside Confrontation Point Ministries in Crossville, Tennessee to help restore homes and lives of those less fortunate in the rural areas of middle Tennessee. Crossroads is going to serve in Mexico and Ukraine.
Here is a list of suggested household jobs that you may need done:
· Rake leaves, clean out flower beds, trim bushes, cut grass, plant flowers, spread mulch
· Clean out or organize garage, attic, or shed
· Move heavy objects
· Wash windows
· Wash cars

There is no set fee for any of these chores. A donation towards summer missions would be gratefully accepted.
If you can use our services and would like to sign up, please fill out the bottom portion of this sheet and drop it in the offering chest at church on or before April 20th…the sooner the better.

You can also call the Youth Ministry Office at 682-8452 Ex: 1200, or email studentministries@firstevan.org , and let us know what you need to have done.

TIN FOIL HATS ANYONE? Despite the joy of wife Sara's homecoming, LE LOBSTER was upset by this week's publication of an MIT study refuting the effectiveness of tin foil hats "foiling" electromagnetic psychotronic mind control carriers. Larry finds his foil beanie helpful in protecting against incoming signals and blocking most forms of brain scanning and mind reading. "Parents seem more confident in me when I'm sporting one of these things while doing a prolonged extraction on one of the little ones in the office." Notes Larry. After several attempts by neighbors to drag Larry down to Temple, Larry started avoiding wearing the traditional beanie style hats on Saturdays. "On Saturdays, I switch to the 'Fez' or 'Centurion' type foil headpieces when hanging out with Sara and the girls."
