Lifebuilder 01/25/09








Dear Lifebuilder:



Lancelot dampened the initial class rowdiness with announcements and introductions.



Posterior Eyeball Specialist, DR DAVID IRVINE, continued his study from Ephesians. The excellent subject matter was supplemented by well-drawn nested Ven Diagrams on the class chalk board.



TOM FRAZIER, eldest son of the First Evan Osmond Family equivalent, briefed the class on the happenings of the upcoming FEC MISSIONS CONFERENCE, 2/24- 3/1. Please refer to the information posted on the Lifebuilder Blogger Site: Lifebuilders Blogger Site



LIFEBUILDER MISSIONARY LUNCHEON: Our class will be hosting a missionary luncheon 3/1. More information to follow.



FEBRUARY ELECTIVES: The entire month of February, electives will be offered during the usual Sunday School hour. There will be no regular meeting of Sunday School classes for the month of February.



LIFEBUILDER SOUP SUPPER: There will be a "Soup & Prayer" class get together Sunday PM 7:00 PM 2/8 tentatively at the Preston Klinke home.



PLAY US A TUNE MR PIANO MANN: Ron "The Man" Mann was in rare form for the combined Carter Lectureship Sunday AM service. Ron led the choir & orchestra while simultaneously playing the Timpani. Later in the same service, he provided piano accompaniment for a duet. Rumor has it he is honing his harmonica and accordion skills for a future Sunday service solo duet.



Dr. Doktor Jim Thorne requests prayer for CRICHTON COLLEGE's current difficulty. Traditional academic programs have will be suspended as of May, 2009.



MIKE OWENS is to have surgery next Friday.



SUSAN NELSON fell and is having surgery 1/26.



EMMY WINNER: Weather Man TIM SIMPSON, along with Jim Jaggers, won the Midsouth Regional Emmy award this past Saturday in Nash Vegas. Congrats!



VAL GOSNEY'S mother is suffering with an advancing form of dementia.



DEATH BY DANCE: Lilt voiced KATE PATRICK had a traditional upbringing by fairly traditional Baptist parents. As a young Kate was encouraged not to participate in any social gatherings that involved contemporary dance steps. She and Paul recently switched from Cable to satellite television. After watching the "Polka Hour" on RFD television station, they have become fans of traditional dance forms. "We especially like the Big Joe Polka Hour in the late afternoons."
